WelshWelshDAG Miner for Windows
Mine BDAG on an ordinary Windows PC — with your processor, your graphics card, or both. A six-step installer and a simple control panel. No command line, no WSL, and nothing else to install.
Your wallet is your account
No sign-up. Enter a BDAG address (0x…, 42 characters). Rewards go straight to it.
Stays in your profile
Installs to %LOCALAPPDATA%\WelshDAG Miner. No service, and nothing in Program Files.
Removes cleanly
The uninstaller stops mining, removes the shortcuts and deletes the folder.

Most people want the first one. The steps below change to match.
Download and unzip
Unzip WelshDAG-Miner-Windows-v1.1.0.zip anywhere. Your Downloads folder is fine.
Double-click “Install WelshDAG Miner.bat”
Windows may show a blue “Windows protected your PC” box. Click More info, then Run anyway. It appears for any program without a paid code-signing certificate.
Follow the six steps
Enter your BDAG wallet address and keep the recommended WelshDAG pool. Leave “Tell Windows Security” ticked. It adds that one folder to Defender's exclusions, because antivirus often deletes mining programs. Real-time protection stays on.
Press Start
Open “WelshDAG Miner” from the Start menu. You get live hashrate, accepted shares and an activity log. Closing the window keeps mining in the tray; right-click the tray icon to quit. Your rig appears on the live dashboard within a couple of minutes.

Use Check the bytes here in the download box below. It downloads the zip, hashes it locally and compares.
Or check the file on your PC
Open PowerShell in the folder you downloaded to and run:
(Get-FileHash .\WelshDAG-Miner-Windows-v1.1.0.zip -Algorithm SHA256).Hash
The result must equal the SHA-256 below (PowerShell prints it in capitals, which is fine). If it differs, don't open the zip.

Username: your wallet address, and nothing else
No worker name. 0xYourAddress.rig1 is refused with
“username should be a valid evm address”. Leave any worker or rig field empty.
Password
Any value works. x is the usual choice.
Get the installer
One zip for 64-bit Windows 10 and 11. It contains the installer, the control panel, the uninstaller, the upstream
dagtech-miner.exe (CPU, copied unchanged from DagTech Ltd) and our own universal
dagtech-gpu-miner.exe (GPU, OpenCL — runs on NVIDIA, AMD and Intel).

Good to know
- CPU and GPU. Setup finds your graphics card and offers to mine with it too. The GPU miner is universal OpenCL — NVIDIA, AMD or Intel — and uses your normal graphics driver, so there is no CUDA or extra download.
- GPU is new. GPU mining was added in 1.1.0. If your card does not start, update its graphics driver; the miner falls back to CPU so mining still runs. Please report anything odd through Ask the operator.
- PC slow? Lower the CPU threads on the Settings tab and press Save.
- Miner vanished? Windows Security removed it. Run Setup again and accept the exclusion prompt.
- Nothing happens on Start? Check the Activity log, then press “Test pool” on the Settings tab.

WelshDAG is an independent hobby operation, not affiliated with BlockDAG or DagTech Ltd. The installer is provided as-is. Mining uses electricity and wears hardware, and rewards are not guaranteed. Mining is your decision and your risk.
